Intersignal
Created for LD 59 "Signal" - Rate the game on our LD Page - Thanks!
HOW TO PLAY
Scan space objects to collect signals:
- Select one of three space objects (their description hints at possible signals)
- Press the scan button to detect signals
- Choose three signals to store, the rest will be discarded
Possible signals:
- Blue, Red, and Yellow signals have strength values from 2 to 5
- Signals with value 1 are Noise
Noise processing:
- Combine three Noise signals to create one random color signal with value 3
Data analyzer (Machine on the right):
- Place color signals or Noise on the slot in the bottom
- Each signal moves the marker forward around the analyzer by signal value
- Landing on a node generates data based on a signal’s color and value
When a signal lands on a node, the result depends on the node’s current state:
- If the node is empty (no color and 0 value), it takes the signal’s color and value
- If the node has the same color as the signal, its value increases by the signal’s value
- If the node has a different color than the signal, the node is reset
- If the signal is Noise, it weakens the node by 1
- If the node value is negative, any color signal resets the node
Game goal:
- Collect balanced data across all colors
- Track total Blue, Red, and Yellow values
- Your final score is the smallest of the sums for Blue, Red, and Yellow colors, minus Noise values

- blue->5 red->4 yellow->13 grey(noise)-> -1 = Final Score 3
- You have 10 scans to achieve the best result
